Hednesford Town are delighted to confirm the appointment of the experienced Guy Hadland as the clubs assistant manager and the appointment of Garry Walker as fitness and nutrition coach.

Hadland, 43, was a highly respected non league player with clubs such as Evesham, Hinckley, Solihull Moors, Brackley and Barwell before retiring from playing.

Following his retirement as a player Guy took on the Assistant Managers job at Barwell in 2014 spending 4 years in the role until taking over as manager in 2018. He remained at Barwell through until the end of last season where he stepped down from his role with the Canaries.

On Hadlands appointment Pitmen boss Danny Glover said “I am absolutely buzzing to get Guy in as assistant manager he has bags of experience, knows the level inside out and definitely isn’t a yes man! I played with Guy at Nuneaton and he was great with me when I was a young striker so I am delighted he has agreed to join the club”.

Also joining is fitness and nutrition coach Garry Walker who has been in the fitness industry for 12 years and has worked with a variety of sports teams during that time. He is well known to Manager Danny Glover having worked with him on a one to one basis throughout his career.
