]]>Liam, at 31 years of age, is the youngest manager that we have appointed at the club but has already given good indication of his management credentials with a couple of successful seasons at Redditch United FC.
Regular readers of the website announcements will know that the manager has been very busy in his early pre-season recruitment and, a week or so after the meeting he will be getting the players together for the pre-season.
The Meet the Manager evening will be a good opportunity for supporters to come along and see some of the other changes and investments in the facilities at Keys Park as we look forward to the new season in the Evo-Stik NPL with some optimism.
]]>Greg Hall (‘Sandbach Hatter’) and Gareth Evans (‘Hatter in Macc’) are founder members of County’s online fans’ forum, ‘County Heaven’, and have already organised sponsored walks to away matches at Macclesfield Town in 2013, and Hyde FC in 2015, both in aid of Greater Manchester-based children’s cancer charity, Kidscan.
They will depart from County’s Edgeley Park ground at 8am on the Saturday morning, and hope to return by 9pm the following evening, a journey which will see them take in most of the country, and travel nearly 1,000 miles!
Greg and Gareth have contacted the club to ask for our support, not only in terms of donations to Kidscan – which can be made via their Just Giving page, www.justgiving.com/bigroadtrip2016 – but also to see if any fans would like to meet them on their travels – and cheer them on!
Subject to traffic, they hope to arrive at Keys Park at around 6.15pm on the Sunday evening, but there will also be live updates throughout the weekend via Twitter – @GarethE77815055.
Further details of the trip can be found at www.countyheaven.com or you can contact Greg at [email protected].
Thank you.
