Various Do and Don’ts …… We’ve been asked so many questions, we are trying to cover everyone’s as much as possible,

Food – Sandwiches/picnics are allowed only (not to be in any glass containers). No other food will be permitted. Food stalls including burger vans, ice cream van, and chicken tikka vans will be available around the ground outside. Social distancing is required at all times whilst visiting these areas.

Drinks – No drinks are allowed to be brought into the venue.

Bars – We will have all three bars open, where table serving will be provided. People are particular encouraged to use the outside bar where possible.

Seating – The main stand will have seating available, and your welcome to bring in seating also. In the stands around the ground either standing or camping chairs are allowed. On the pitch itself only picnic blankets or inflatables (seats or similar such as that amazing magical unicorn inflatable that you find so comfy) are allowed.

Smoking – Smoking is allowed in the rear corners of the ground. (NO smoking allowed on the pitch)

Tickets – If you have booked your tickets now and for any reason haven’t received them (they sometimes land in your spam folder so please check there), don’t worry. As long as you have a confirmation email, we have your details on the gates, and will be able to process your entry from your booking name and email. You can just turn up as normal on the day.

Masks – When using the toilets or entering a food or bar area please use masks due to the current Covid rules.

Toilets – We have all our toilet facilities open which are located to the sides of both stands and one in the side of the ground to the right hand side of the stage. Please remember to socially distance and queue where required.

Gate Entry – The gates will be clearly signed for Pre-booked tickets, Pay on the Gate and Guest List. Please use the correct gate. Everyone is recommended to purchase tickets in advance to ensure track and trace is pre-completed to speed entry up for all visitors.

Track & Trace – We are running a Covid safe event. So if for any reason you have not put your details correctly in for each attendee when booking, please ensure you use the track and trace log or scan yourselves in via the QR code at the entry points as required.

One Way Systems – We have numerous one way systems marked around the stadium to assist with social distancing. Please ensure you respect and follow these at all times.

Social Distancing – This is required at all times in line with the current government rules. We have plenty of space around the stadium to facilitate this. The latest guidance is as follows –

Meeting family and friends outdoors

You should continue to minimise the number of people you meet within a short period of time to limit the risk of spreading coronavirus (COVID-19). Most restrictions on meeting people outdoors have been lifted, but gatherings must not exceed 30 people unless covered by a legal exemption, such as:

  • for the purposes of work or volunteering
  • to provide care or assistance for disabled or vulnerable people

If you are meeting friends and family, you can make a personal choice on whether to keep your distance from them, but you should still be cautious. You should read the guidance on meeting friends and family.

Meeting friends and family indoors (rule of 6)

It is safer to meet people outdoors. This is because COVID-19 spreads much more easily indoors. However, you can meet up indoors with friends and family you do not live with, either:

  • in a group of up to 6 from any number of households (children of all ages count towards the limit of 6)
  • in a group of any size from up to two households (each household can include an existing support bubble, if eligible)

If you are meeting friends and family, you can make a personal choice on whether to keep your distance from them, but you should still be cautious. You should read the guidance on meeting friends and family.

Please ensure you help us by following these guidelines.

Behaviour – We run this event to be a friendly and safe environment to all. Please enjoy you days. Should anyone see anything that would not be normally socially acceptable, please report this to a member of the security team who will deal with anything with appropriate measures. Anyone who repeatedly or severely breaks rules having being advised accordingly would run the risk of been ejected without refund.

Overall everyone we wish you a great day, where you enjoy sitting back and relaxing to enjoy a full day of live music from some of the best talented bands around. The biggest rule of all …… ENJOY YOUR DAY.

The evening will see comedians Andy White, Andrew Watts and Tony Vino coming together from 7.30pm in the Chase Suite to provide a top night of entertainment.

Andy White is an energetic and confident Brummie who combines silly voices and a mad afro to devastating effect. He has made numerous media appearances including the BBC New Comedy Awards, Brand Spanking New on BBC Radio 7 and a winning performance on the Weakest Link comedian’s special.

Andrew Watts meanwhile uses his intelligent posh boy humour to interact with audiences in order to create very original material. Having appeared at Edinburgh he also lists appearances on ITV’s Stand-Up Hero and Comedy Central’s The World Stands Up.

Completing the trio is Tony Vino who has been touring the comedy scene since early 2005. A finalist in 2006 Funny Bones competition, Vino has performed for a number of charities and was the official warm-up comedian for BBC Songs of Praise. You can also hear him at a weekend on BBC Radio Manchester.

Meet the Manager – Thursday 23rd June, 7.30pm https://www.hednesfordtownfc.com/2016/06/meet-the-manager-thursday-23rd-june-2016-7-30pm?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=meet-the-manager-thursday-23rd-june-2016-7-30pm Wed, 15 Jun 2016 14:02:45 +0000 http://www.hednesfordtownfc.com/?p=8172 On Thursday 23rd June we have arranged one of the popular ‘Meet the Manager’ evenings at Keys Park where supporters can come along and meet Liam McDonald and ask him questions about his plans for the season ahead.

Liam, at 31 years of age, is the youngest manager that we have appointed at the club but has already given good indication of his management credentials with a couple of successful seasons at Redditch United FC.

Regular readers of the website announcements will know that the manager has been very busy in his early pre-season recruitment and, a week or so after the meeting he will be getting the players together for the pre-season.

The Meet the Manager evening will be a good opportunity for supporters to come along and see some of the other changes and investments in the facilities at Keys Park as we look forward to the new season in the Evo-Stik NPL with some optimism.

Charity Walkers to Visit Keys Park https://www.hednesfordtownfc.com/2016/06/charity-walkers-to-visit-keys-park?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=charity-walkers-to-visit-keys-park Sun, 05 Jun 2016 07:47:20 +0000 http://www.hednesfordtownfc.com/?p=8142 On Saturday 25th June 2016, two Stockport County fans will be embarking on an epic road trip, as they endeavour to visit all 22 Conference North grounds from the 2015/16 season, in just one weekend.

Greg Hall (‘Sandbach Hatter’) and Gareth Evans (‘Hatter in Macc’) are founder members of County’s online fans’ forum, ‘County Heaven’, and have already organised sponsored walks to away matches at Macclesfield Town in 2013, and Hyde FC in 2015, both in aid of Greater Manchester-based children’s cancer charity, Kidscan.

They will depart from County’s Edgeley Park ground at 8am on the Saturday morning, and hope to return by 9pm the following evening, a journey which will see them take in most of the country, and travel nearly 1,000 miles!

Greg and Gareth have contacted the club to ask for our support, not only in terms of donations to Kidscan – which can be made via their Just Giving page, www.justgiving.com/bigroadtrip2016 – but also to see if any fans would like to meet them on their travels – and cheer them on!

Subject to traffic, they hope to arrive at Keys Park at around 6.15pm on the Sunday evening, but there will also be live updates throughout the weekend via Twitter – @GarethE77815055.

Further details of the trip can be found at www.countyheaven.com or you can contact Greg at [email protected].

Thank you.
