Hartley, 20, began his career with Shrewsbury Town before moving on to join Frickley Atheltic in 2020, he spent a season with them before moving on to join Truro City in 2021/22. At the end of the season he joined the Rouslers but has now agreed terms to join The Pitmen.

Nabi, 25, began his career with West Bromwich Albion before leaving to join Indian super league club Delhi Dynamos, following a season with them Nabi moved back to England playing for Carlisle United, Torquay United and Kidderminster Harriers. He then joined Hereford in 2020 linking up with now Pitmen boss Steve Burr. In May 2019 Nabi was called up to the Pakistan national side with his first cap coming in a World Cup qualifier the following month.

We are delighted to have brought Samir to the club and welcome him to the RACE Stadium ahead of tomorrow’s clash with AFC Rushden and Diamonds.

Hednesford Town are pleased to announce the signing of experienced defender Keith Lowe from neighbouring Rushall Olympic.

Lowe, 37, made the move to part time football at the start of this season having had a distinguished career in the Football League and National League for the likes of Wolves, Burnley, Port Vale, Cheltenham Town, York City, Macclesfield Town and of course Kidderminster Harriers, where he was the club captain and part of the side that faced West Ham in the FA Cup as well as appearing in the playoffs at the end of last season as he moved in to part time football joining Rushall Olympic.

We are delighted to have been able to bring Keith to the club and we welcome him to the RACE Stadium in time for Saturdays game with AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

I write again sadly to discuss certain issues of a very small minority of troublesome individuals.

We have been made aware of a video whereby a young person shouts out unacceptable abuse.  Our stance is a simple one of disgust to such incident and will not be tolerated.  We request that anyone in the vicinity of this, who has information on who the individual is, contacts the club regarding the identity of the individual (anonymously if needs be).  A report has also been lodged with the Police (their Football Hate Crime Dedicated Officer) who shall pick up on this incident and action accordingly.  We as a club also will not hesitate to issue a lifetime ban for any such behaviour.

We as a club appreciate that football is a very emotional sport, and this can lead to elevated emotions.  However, a very small number of individuals continue to appear to forget that there is a line you cannot cross (or even have a mindset of such, to be honest).

We have previously stated what is not acceptable of any sort of discrimination, abuse (online or in person), or any manner of antisocial behaviour.  Again, I reiterate that this sort of behaviour WILL NOT be tolerated by myself, the board, or us as a club.  It will be addressed with swift and harsh consequences.  There is no place for any of this around the club (or any club to that matter) in any circumstances.  It does not matter if you are a fan of either side playing, a member of staff, a player, a member of playing backroom staff or board member, if it is proven you as an individual cross a line, you will be immediately ejected from the ground and face a stadium ban and have the incident reported to the FA, League and Police (as individual circumstances arise).

We live in a world, where everyone should feel safe and protected by each other, and should be allowed to enjoy the game which we all love so much.

We came into the club to ensure it continued to strive.  We as a board have done everything we can, to grow the club in the community for all, to improve the ground, and seek to gain what we all desire the most ……  I remind everyone of what I stated from the start, WE have to do this together.  I personally find it disgusting that such behaviour is happening, but if you are in a crowd and see or hear such, I am left perplexed why this would not get reported immediately to staff around the ground, so such behaviour can be addressed with the immediate and absolute action required.  We get informed of such incident after a game, when it is uploaded to social media.  Surely, we all see that this sort of action does not assist in dealing with any small-minded individuals at the time.  It only creates a negative awareness, which such sad and small-minded individuals, do not deserve any acknowledgement for.

I have no personal interest in been part of a club which cannot behave.  We have to work together to stamp this behaviour out.  We will be having additional undercover people walking around the club on game days, to identify any perpetrators.  We will do everything we can to stamp this behaviour out.  But this always comes at a cost to us as a club, which to put it bluntly should not be needed.  So, I ask you all to assist in helping, by reporting it to staff as needed, if any type of anti-social behaviour happen.

There’s no place for such behaviour in life, let alone football.  We are here to be a family club, a community club.  We want to succeed, we must do it together, as the only way we will succeed is through togetherness.

Its time we all help…..its a time of need of togetherness.

Nesbitt, 24, has played for a number of clubs at step 3 and 4 including Loughborough, Bedworth United and Alverchurch where he scored 22 goals across the 2021/22 season for those clubs before moving to Redditch United, scoring the only goal in the opening day game at the RACE Stadium.

The forward is a Cannock born lad and has worked hard around various step 4 clubs scoring plenty of goals before continuing the pattern since his move up to step 3 with Alverchurch and Redditch and we are delighted to welcome him in time for tonights game against Bromsgrove Sporting

Welcome to the Pitmen Ryan!

Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that James McQuilkin has signed for the club.

McQuilkin, 33, came through the ranks at West Bromwich Albion before joining FC Trinity Zlin in the Czech Republic, he returned to England in 2009 with Hereford United and then took in spells at Kidderminster, Walsall, Hednesford, Torquay and Telford. He returned to Kidderminster in 2015 where he made 81 appearances before departing back to AFC Telford United in 2018 for a 2 year stay.

Following a brief return to Hereford, the Tipton born midfielder signed for Stourbridge in the Southern central premier division. Having departed the Glassboys at the end of last season he spent time with the Pitmen during the summer however a deal wasn’t reached for the former Northern Ireland Under 21 international however we are delighted to announce he has now agreed terms here at the RACE Stadium.

Hednesford Town are pleased to announce the return of midfielder Chris Clements.

Clements, 32, began his career with Crewe Alexandra taking in loan spells with Several non-league clubs and here with the Pitmen before signing for the club following his release from Crewe making 104 appearances between 2010 and 2012.

He then left to join Mansfield Town winning the National Premier and becoming a football league player as a result taking on spells at Grimsby, Barrow, Forest Green and Cheltenham.

Chris is an exciting signing for the Pitmen adding experience in the middle of the park whilst knowing the club inside out.
