MATCHDAY PARKING – KEYS PARK STADIUM

Dear Supporters and Residents,We have recently received a number of comments and concerns regarding car parking at Keys Park on matchdays. I want to take this opportunity to address these concerns and provide some insight into our matchday parking operations.

SAFETY AS OUR TOP PRIORITY
The safety of our supporters, staff, and visitors is our utmost priority on matchdays. We are fortunate at Keys Park to have a substantial number of parking spaces, and we are incredibly grateful for the growing support we’ve received this season. The increased attendance has been fantastic to see, but it also presents us with challenges in maintaining a safe and efficient parking operation.

RESERVED PARKING
On matchdays, we must reserve a number of spaces for our staff, opposition staff, match officials, sponsors, and guests. These reserved spaces are allocated in the main car park before the ground opens. Once these essential allocations are made, we then turn to our rear and side car parks, as well as any remaining spaces in the front main car park.

PARKING OPERATION
We fill the back car park first to minimise traffic in front of the building, where there are many supporters heading towards the turnstiles. After the back car park reaches capacity, we utilise the side car park and the remaining spaces in the main car park.PRE PAID PARKING SPACES
In response to your feedback, we are introducing a new prepaid parking system to make matchday parking more convenient. A limited number of parking spaces in our new tarmac area will now be available for purchase in advance through Fanbase for just £3.These prepaid spaces are intended to help alleviate some of the parking congestion and provide a guaranteed spot, whatever the time of arrival for those who book in advance.

RESIDENTS & RESTRICTIONS
We kindly remind all supporters not to park within the housing estate surrounding the stadium, as this area is reserved for residents only. Additionally, please avoid parking on the grass verges, as this creates significant disruption for local residents. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting our neighbours and helping us maintain a positive relationship with the local community.

CHALLENGES
We acknowledge that the rear car park is currently not tarmacked, but it is essential to use all available space to accommodate as many vehicles as possible. If this area becomes unusable on a matchday, we will close it and reduce our overall parking capacity.Thank you for your continued support.
