Hednesford Town are thrilled to announce the signing of dynamic midfielder Omar Holness from FF Jaro, subject to International clearance.

Omar, 30, started his career in the USA spending 5 successful years in the states and representing a variety of clubs including Real Salt Lake city in the MLS. During this time he received International recognition working his way through from Jamaica U17’s to the U21’s before receiving his first full international call up in 2014 and made his debut against Canada. He went on to be capped 5 times by his country.

In 2019, the talented midfielder joined Darlington of the Conference North where he was a stand out player. During his time here, Omar Scored in the FA Cup against Walsall and the winner against Solihull Moors in the FA Trophy before securing a move to Conference south side Bath City where he again was a key player.

A move to Gloucester City followed in 2023 where he made the playoffs with them for the first time in their history; before he finished the season playing in the Finnish Championship for FF Jaro.
