Hednesford Close Season Hat-trick……

Monday 06/06/2022

The club are pleased to announce a Hat-trick of signings………

First Up, we would like to welcome to the Pitmen Joe Cuff.

Joe (25) joins the Pitmen from neighbouring Stafford Rangers, following a 4 year spell and can play on either wing.

A comment from the management was that “Joes a big, quick, direct and strong, goal scoring winger who has the ability to change games, and with other many other clubs including teams above all seeking him out, only shows how we are progressing”.

Next up we welcome Luke Rowe.

Luke (21) joins from Redditch United, having also had previous spells with Wolves Academy & Coventry City where he played as captain.  Luke can play anywhere around the middle of the pitch as a combative midfielder, and re-joins his previous team mate Todd Parker, who we already know and love so well.

A comment from the management was that “Lukes a a great signing, with other clubs in our division all seeking his signature.  Hes ability to change a game with his tenacious tackling, will only add to the depth we have in the middle of the pitch”.

Next up we welcome Taylor Carter-Byrne.

Taylor (25) joins from Coleshill Town.  Taylor has turned down an approach from a conference club to sign for the Pitmen.  Taylor a left footed centre back is technically and physically strong, who adds depth in the back line.

A comment from the management was that “Taylor is a great signing, and with him having turned down strong approaches from higher level clubs.  Taylor will add that bit of extra depth and strength, as he knows when to play and when to release early that we sought after.  With the depth we now have at the back with the current players, this is a great signing for the club”.

We would all like to welcome Joe, Luke & Taylor to Keys Park for the forthcoming season.
